A new Need for Speed game could be coming. According to the European Union Intellectual Property Office, Electronic Arts has submitted an application for trademark for Need for Speed: Arena. Specifically the game was trademarked in Nice classes 9 and 41 which generally represents video games and online video games respectively.
Unfortunately, not much else is known about the trademark and nothing is completely solidified as this is just the application and the EUIPO is still investigating.
