Square Enix has staple-gunned a July 27 release date to the PS4 version of Neo: The World Ends With You, which marks the first time the series has launched for a PlayStation console.
The game is the follow-up to the popular RPG The World Ends With You, and takes place in Shibuya, Tokyo. While there are a bunch of recognisable landmark to be found, the game’s depiction of Shibuya has been rendered in full anime-stile visuals, giving it a vibrant aesthetic.
Here, players will unearth the mysteries behind the life-or-death Reapers’ Game, which you are forced to take part in. In addition, Neo: The World Ends With You includes a soundtrack composed by Takeharu Ishimoto, who scored the music for the original entry in the franchise.
