Castlevania: Nocturne is a new upcoming animated tv series produced by Netflix that we now know will premiere this coming September 28, 2023, and a new teaser trailer will go live tomorrow, July 27, 2023.
Netflix announced the news through the series official Twitter account, with a photo of Richter Belmont, the series protagonist. The new series was first revealed last June, and it’s been radio silence since.
In its first teaser trailer announcing the project, we heard plenty of voices all discussing Richter, and only saw the character quickly turn around before it cut to the title card.
Hopefully tomorrow’s teaser trailer will showcase a little more about what to expect in this series, and how closely tied the story is to the games.
A new animated series is all well and good, especially after the success of the first one. But many fans are looking more forward to the potential reveal of a new Castlevania game in the works.
With Gamescom 2023 coming up, Konami could be lining a reveal up soon.
