Cloud Chamber, the studio behind the new BioShock game, has taken on board the project’s narrative lead in the form of Far Cry 5 writer Liz Albl.
Albl, who also worked on Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, announced the news on Twitter below.

In terms of a release date, 2K hasn’t announced anything yet, but it’s supposedly out by the end of 2024.
Back in May last year, a job listing posted by Cloud Chamber for a Senior Gameplay Programmer revealed that BioShock 4 will utilise the Unreal Engine 5, which isn’t a surprise at this point as many major developers are using the tech.
The new BioShock game is presumably in development for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S with an official release date yet to be announced.
