Codemasters has shoved a new DiRT 5 trailer out of the garage this afternoon, confirming the previously leaked PS4 to PS5 upgrade as well as a number of other features in the off-road racer. Pleasingly, the free upgrade pertains to both the digital and physical version of the game.
DiRT 5 Trailer Reveals New Gameplay Details
DiRT 5 will feature 10 locations: Nepal, Arizona, Roosevelt Island, Norway, China, Morocco, Greece, Italy, South Africa and Brazil. We’re also given a look at various offline event types, such as Ultra Cross, Rally Raid, Landrush, Ice Breaker, Stampede, Path Finder, Sprint, Gymkhana and Time Trial.

DiRT 5 is scheduled for release on October 9 for PS4, PC and Xbox One, with a PS5 and Xbox Series X version also in the pipeline. Codemasters previously revealed that the game will support 120 FPS on the next-generation consoles, as well as heaping praise on the PS5 DualSense controller.
