Square Enix has released some dazzling new Final Fantasy 15 screenshots for your viewing pleasure.
This latest batch focuses on the upcoming action-RPG’s combat system, and sees Noctis and chums getting handy with a sniper rifle and chainsaw. Check them out in our Final Fantasy 15 screenshot gallery.
Final Fantasy 15 release date set for winter 2016
Final Fantasy 15 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 29, 2016. The game was originally pencilled in for release in late September, but was delayed in order to allow some extra time for polishing.
The game was initially announced over ten years ago as the PS3-exclusive project, Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Then part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series of games, Square Enix later scrapped the game when it was around 25 percent complete and revamped the title for current-generation systems as the game we know today.

Final Fantasy 15 takes on a more action-oriented approach to gameplay in comparison to previous instalments in the venerable JRPG franchise, though players will also be able to explore a vast open-world ripe with side quests.
In addition to the game, Square Enix has also released a tie-in CG film known as Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15, which is now available to purchase on Blu-ray. An extremely limited Ultimate Collector’s Edition of FF15 was also made available a few months back, though it’s now sold out worldwide. Twice.
