Insomniac Games has unveiled a dazzling new batch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 screenshots for you to feast your eyes on following its panel at the San Diego Comic-Con overnight.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 takes place following the events of the original Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and sees Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up against band of new villains, including Kraven the Hunter and Venom. Peter will be able to take on the powers of the symbiote suite, which makes him more aggressive and powerful, offering a new side to the superhero.
The superhero sequel will allow players to switch between Peter and Miles at any point during the open-world, although despite the addition of two playable characters, Insomniac has revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was always intended to be a single-player game. There’s also no plans for a demo of the game at present.
Insomniac Games will launch Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 exclusively for PS5 on October 20, 2023.
