New No Man’s Sky update will make PS4 owners ‘very happy’

Hello Games’ Sean Murray has revealed on Twitter that an upcoming No Man’s Sky update is set to make PlayStation 4 and PC owners ‘very happy.

“Awesome day at Hello Games, we’re going to make some people very happy with a PC and PS4 patch that’s in test right now 🙂,” wrote Murray, the game’s creative lead.

No date for the update has been confirmed as of yet, although if it’s in testing we hopefully shouldn’t have to wait long to find out.

No Man’s Sky was released on PS4 and PC last week. The game takes place in a sprawling, procedurally generated open-world, where players are able to explore the far reaches of the galaxy in search of uncharted worlds and new life.

The game features a staggering 18 quintillion planets to visit, something which is impossible for players to achieve—unless you happen to have five billion years spare, that is. Unsurprisingly, Hello Games has said that around 99 percent of locations will not be visited by gamers.
