Capcom has exhumed a grisly new pair of Resident Evil 7: biohazard screenshots for you to get your laughing gear around.
The images were shared via the Resident Evil Ambassador program, and act as a teaser for what’s to come later in the week at the Tokyo Game Show. Since Capcom is hosting a number of stage events for Resident Evil 7 at the show, we expect to get a whole heap of new info to share with you.
For now, check out the new screenshots below, which appear to depict the Baker family tucking into Sunday lunch. Let’s just hope it’s not us on the menu.
Resident Evil 7 PS4 Pro support confirmed, HDR comes to Capcom’s horror sequel
Capcom announced yesterday that Resident Evil 7 will support Sony’s upcoming PS4 Pro console with HDR and 4K capabilities. In addition, the Japanese publisher also revealed the title will not feature microtransactions despite earlier rumors.
Resident Evil 7 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on January 24, 2017. The game is also fully playable from start to finish with PlayStation VR.
The survival horror sequel takes place on a remote plantation mansion in Louisiana, USA, with players controlling newcomer Ethan as he searches for his missing wife. Unlike previous entries in the series, the game takes place entirely from a first-person perspective, although that’s part and parcel of bringing the franchise back to its roots.
Players can give the game at test drive now via the Resident Evil 7 demo on the PlayStation Store. Also, be sure to read our Resident Evil 7 VR impressions.
