Street Fighter V is due out on PS4 and PC on February 16. The game will be a console exclusive to Sony’s current-generation system, with Street Fighter boss Yoshinori Ono suggesting that Xbox One owners should save up for a PS4 if they want to play the game.

In addition, Ono-san also revealed that he has a five-year plan in store for the hotly anticipated brawler, although quite how that will pan out is anyone’s guess. What is known, however, is that Street Fighter V will support 16 characters on day-one with more rolling out throughout 2016.

Despite this, Ono-san and his team have attracted criticism from gamers for eschewing some popular characters from the roster, such as Blanka and Sagat

Capcom has confirmed that the game will be receiving a free story expansion in the summer, and Sony is teaming up with the publisher to release a Street Fighter V PS4 bundle at retail alongside the standalone game.
