Geoff Keighley has revealed in a post on X that the Street Fighter movie will be receiving a new trailer tomorrow, offering another look at the latest adaptation of Capcom’s flagship fighting game franchise.
The Street Fighter movie is set to punch its way into cinemas on October 16, 2026, and is being directed by Kitao Sakurai based on a script by Dolan Musson. Set in 1993, the film focuses on Ryu and Ken Masters, martial artists who are recruited by Chun-Li to take part in the upcoming World Warrior Tournament, which pits the strongest fighters in the world against each other. There’s more to the tournament than meets the eye however, and the pair soon uncover a conspiracy that forces them against each other and their past demons.
Starring in the movie is Noah Centineo (Ken), Andrew Koji (Ryu), Callina Liang (Chun-Li), Roman Reigns (Akuma), Daniel Dastmalchian (M. Bison), Cody Rhodes (Guile), and Jason Momoa (Blanka) among others. Street Fighter will be distributed by Paramount Pictures on Oct. 16.
