Speaking during an interview with WCCFTech, Team Ninja‘s Fumihiko Yasuda confirmed that the upcoming Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition will feature Cross-Play for PS5 and PS4 users.
In addition, Yasuda-san revealed that you’ll also be able to transfer your save data between both versions of the game. Here’s the full comment:
There will be crossplay for players on PS4 and PS5. You can also transfer your save data between PS4 and PS5. Crossplay will not be available between PlayStation consoles and PC.

Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition is arriving for PS5 as part of the Nioh Collection in February, alongside a fully remastered version of the original game. In addition, the Complete Edition is also coming to PS4 and PC.
The remaster of Nioh will feature a wealth of visual and performance enhancements, including support for 4K resolution and 120 FPS depending on what mode you select.
