No Duke Nukem Forever at E3

Scott Miller of developer 3D Realms has said that its highly anticipated FPS Duke Nukem Forever is progressing “nicely,” but confirmed that the game will not be making an appearance at the E3 Media and Business Summit in mid-July.

When asked on a progress report, Miller told Next-Gen, “Development is swimming along nicely. Seriously nicely."

Despite this, Miller stated that the game would not be shown at E3, branding the July event as “irrelevant.”

"It’s just that we view E3 as irrelevant nowadays.  In fact, I wasn’t even aware it was coming up," he said.

Duke Nukem Forever is currently in development for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, with 3D Realms yet to announce a firm release date, simply stating the game will be out "when it’s done."

Stay tuned for further developments as they break.
