Hello Games’ Sean Murray has dropped some interesting No Man’s Sky stats on Twitter following a hugely successful launch day for ambitious PlayStation 4 title.
According to Murray, gamers notched up a whopping 10 million species discovered during No Man’s Sky’s first 24 hours. To put this into perspective, that’s more species than have been found on real-life earth.
Players managed to find one million species in just one hour on the epic space exploration title, and the number quickly hit the magic 10 million mark just a few hours later. Needless to say, Murray and his team are feeling quite chuffed at the game’s initial success.

Murray previously highlighted the fact No Man’s Sky is not a multiplayer title, and despite featuring a shared universe players are not able to physically see each other while in the same location.
