Take-Two CEO Ben Feder has confirmed that the company has no plans to release a new multiplatform Grand Theft Auto title in fiscal 2010.
Speaking in light of the firm’s decision to postpone the release of several high profile games including BioShock 2 and Max Payne 3, Feder stated: "Our goals for fiscal 2010 include operating the company profitably on a Non-GAAP basis without a new multi-platform Grand Theft Auto release.”
Unsurprisingly, given the absence of so many of its big hitters for the remainder of the year, the company admitted in a conference call yesterday that it isn’t expecting a profitable 2009.
