SEGA has confirmed that it’s pulled the PlayStation Network version of OutRun Online Arcade.
The publisher confirmed that the game will no longer be up for grabs via Sony’s online service as a result of the expiration of a licensing deal with Ferrari. As a result, the game is now only available on Xbox LIVE Arcade.
"Due to the expiry of the contract with Ferrari, Outrun Online Arcade will remain offline on PSN but will still be available on XBLA until Dec 2011," the company told website CVG.
OutRun Online Arcade was originally released in April 2009.
