PES 2017 demo release date confirmed for PS4, choose from nine teams

Konami has announced that it will be released a PES 2017 demo on August 24, 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

The demo will come with nine playable teams, which are based on data culled from May 2016. In addition, two stadiums will feature, namely Camp Nou and Neu Sonne Arena. The available teams are as follows:

  • Atlético Madrid
  • Arsenal
  • Barcelona
  • Boca Juniors
  • River Plate
  • Corinthians
  • Flamengo
  • Germany
  • France

PES 2017 is due to ship in North America on September 13 and in Europe on September 15 for PS4, PS3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The game is powered by the FOX Engine created by Metal Gear maestro Hideo Kojima.

This latest entry in the venerated footie franchise includes English commentary by Peter Drury and Jim Beglin, and features partnerships with a number of clubs including FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, and Borussia Dortmund. 

PES 2017’s European box art includes shots of FC Barcelona players such as Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, and Gerard Pique.
