PixelJunk LifeLike is now called PixeJunk 4am

Q-Games has officially changed the name of the Move-controlled music experience that is PixelJunk LifeLike, to PixelJunk 4am. While some may find the name a little out of the ordinary, we can’t help but be on-board with the new name – since the PixelJunk 4am experience will certainly be out of the ordinary, as well.

4am collaborator and musical artist Baiyon (Kyoto-based musician who also created the soundtrack of Eden) goes on to explain the name change, as well as the meaning behind the new title.

"4am represents the exact mood and feeling we’ve captured.” said Baiyon. “4am is that deep night hour. In clubs, the music drifts to a new level entering a deepened state that often seems removed from reality. Whether you’re in a club or not, 4am always feels like the night has gone on forever, where there’s still that little bit of time left before dawn. This late night feel better represents our current visual and musical style.” he added.

PixelJunk 4am comes out later this year, and while no specific release date has been pegged yet, stay tuned to PSU for more info.
