Originally set to launch for the PlayStation 4 this year, the MMO Planetside 2 will now not be available until early 2014, according to the PlayStation Blog.
Sony Online Entertainment’s leader John Smedley stated on the PlayStation Blog. “We’re helping the Sony PlayStation 4 launch on November 15 by releasing DC Universe Online at launch, and we’re following up that early next year with our next game, Planetside 2, on PS4.”
As of yet, there has been no reason given for the delay. Until a reason as to why Planetside 2 was delayed surfaces, stay tuned to PSU for more information.
