Planetside 2 launched in North America and Europe on PS4 yesterday, but its European release has been plagued with server issues with players unable to actually play the massively multiplayer online first-person shooter at all.
The servers have now been taken offline while Sony and developer Daybreak work on fixing the issues. While some North American gamers can access the PlanetSide 2 servers, there are also issues, with reports of a server outage last night and connection problems from some players. Daybreak says it is working hard to fix the issues and expects normal service to resume as soon as possible.
For updates, keep an eye on the Daybreak Twitter account.
PlanetSide 2 isn’t the only PS4 game suffering with server problems in the last 24 hours. Earlier today, the DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition launched and then was quickly pulled from the PlayStation Store after the developer confirmed the servers aren’t ready.
