Balenciaga has teamed up with Sony to create merchandise themed around the new PS5 console and since being revealed it turns out that the clothing costs more than the console itself.
Prices for the clothing starts at a whopping $675 and is almost $200 more than the price of the disc edition of the console and almost $300 more than the Digital Editon. What makes the price even more eye-opening is that there aren’t any fancy designs or branding on the merchandise, instead only featuring basic logos and designs.
Even when you factor in the fact that many PS5s are being resold, the value and longevity you will get from the PS5 far outways what you will get from this designer merchandise. So, while it is a cool collaboration, save your pennies and dollars for a PS5 or something else.
