Invitations to a PlayStation Meeting have been sent out to members of the press, with the event set for September 7 at 3pm Eastern in New York City. Yesterday, VICE and Gameblog reported such an event was happening and it would be where the upgraded PlayStation 4 “Neo” console (also known as the PS4.5 or PS4K) will be unveiled.

The PS4 Neo reportedly will contain an improved processor (CPU) and graphics processor (GPU), along with higher bandwidth RAM. You can find the previously leaked specifications and info here.

UPDATE: A Sony representative has told Polygon that the PlayStation Meeting will be streamed live online and Sony will "provide more information as we get closer."
