PlayStation Stars has started rolling out in North and South America today, and as previously reported for Japanese customers, the service is offering top priority for its Level 4 members in regards to customer support chat.
The service isn’t coming to Europe until October 13, but it’s now available in the US, and again employs the same system as Japan: you start at Level 1 and increase it by purchasing games and collecting Trophies. Level 4 customers have been confirmed to benefit from “chat priority routing,” allowing them to connect with support reps ahead of other members not at the same level.
PlayStation Stars members in Japan last week complained over the fact that Level 4 members are given a higher priority for customer service.

Elsewhere, it has been claimed that PlayStation Stars is also offering an invite-only Diamond Tier, although this has not been confirmed.
