Olivier Courtemarche has been named as the new head of the mobile division of PlayStation Studios, having previously served as co-head since June 2023.
The news was confirmed by Courtemarche himself in a post on LinkedIn, where he stated:
I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as head of mobile, PlayStation Studios at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Nicola Sebastiani was the previous head of PlayStation’s mobile division, but departed the company in June 2023, just two years after it was set up. During this time, Courtemarche was promoted to co-head of mobile alongside Kris Davis. Also in July last year, it was announced that Michail Katkoff, the head of Savage Game Studios, had decided to leave the company less than a year after Savage was acquired by Sony as part of its continued mobile push.
The studio was later renamed as Neon Koi before being shuttered last month alongside Firewalk Studios, with its in-development mobile title cancelled as a result.
