As the lead up to next generation grows shorter, we’re finally learning new things about what the PS5 will be like for users each day. The latest info comes from three videos released by PlayStation Support, which offer up a new look at the PS5 UI.
The videos themselves provide helpful tips for setting up your new console and adjusting it to your preferences, along with transferring PS4 save data to PS5. You can see the new look at the PS5 UI below:
The videos provide a great look at the PS5 UI, but more importantly its clear that PS5 will have some great quality of life upgrades when it comes to the user experience. Not having to manually sign in but use a QR code through the PS App is a key improvement that actually hasn’t been implemented on any previous PlayStation consoles. Also, while new features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are exciting may not be for every player, and having multiple levels of intensity for each feature is great for the accessibility of PS5. This includes the variety of options for 3D Audio on the console.
The PS5 launches on November 12, 2020, in the US and on November 19, 2020, in the UK and EU.
