Bethesda is allowing gamers to try out its upcoming PlayStation 4 title Prey ahead of its hotly anticipated launch next month.
According to a video posted earlier today to its YouTube channel, players will be able to test drive the first hour of the game when the Prey demo drops on April 27.
Prey takes place in an alternate timeline where U.S. President John F. Kennedy survives his assassination attempt, and subsequently puts more funding into the space program. Unfortunately, as a result of humans’ activity in space an alien force called the Typhon attack Earth.
This is when the United States and U.S.S.R. join forces to fight off the invasion and build a space station called Talos I. The newly created space station orbits the Earth’s moon and serves as a prison for captured Typhon.
Prey is scheduled for release on May 5 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
