PS VR games lead Sony’s Tokyo Game Show 2016 lineup

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced its lineup for the Tokyo Game Show 2016, confirming a boatload of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR titles for the Japanese-based event. 

TGS 2016 takes place September 15 – 18, and comes just a week after Sony’s PlayStation Meeting in New York City, where the console maker is expected to unveil the PS4 Neo and PS4 Slim. For now, check out the company’s games lineup below. 

PS VR games confirmed for TGS 2016

Farpoint, Resident Evil 7, Rez Infinite, Batman: Arkham VR, RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, The Playroom VR and so on. Games that will be showcased as part of the stage event include Rez Infinite, Resident Evil 7, Nioh, Overwatch, Final Fantasy 15, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, New Hot Shots Golf, RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, Gran Turismo Sport and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

PS4 games confirmed for TGS 2016

Resident Evil 7: biohazard, Nioh, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy 15, World of Final Fantasy, Valkyria: Azure Revolution, Yakuza 6, Gravity Rush 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Gran Turismo Sport, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Tekken 7, plus many more.

Conspicuous by its absence The Last Guardian, which is scheduled to hit stores in October 2016. Hopefully this isn’t an indication that the game has been delayed, as Sony’s already suffered one of its biggest titles of 2016 being pushed into next year as it is.
