Sony has announced on the EU PlayStation Blog that registrations for the Dark Souls II beta are now open.
Those of you who are interested simply need to pop over to the PlayStation Store and download the registration ticket, under the ‘Games’ section in the ‘Latest releases’ tab.
The first wave of beta rounds will kick off on October 12 in the U.S., Europe and Australasia, with the second commencing on October 27.
Dark Souls II is currently in development at From Software, and is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360 in March 2014. The game features many of the same mechanics as its predecessor, though players can expect new additions such as mid-air weapon deflection, destructible environments, optional bosses and enhanced AI.
