Sony’s upcoming PS4 Slim model will come in two flavors, a 500GB and a 1TB hard drive, according to a user who has managed to get his hands on the as-yet unannounced console.
PS4 Slim 1TB may be coming
Twitter user shortman82 has revealed that the PS4 Slim manual mentions another version of the console, CUH-2016B, which comes equipped with a 1TB hard drive in addition to the existing 500GB model.
Sony has yet to officially comment on the PS4 Slim despite the system being leaked earlier this week, when a user posted the console for sale on U.K. site Gumtree. In addition, the slimmer machine has also appeared on eBay and CEX, with the latter selling them for £380.
It has been reported by earlier adopters of the system that the PS4 Slim will be fully revealed during Sony’s PlayStation Meeting in New York City early next month. In addition to the smaller dimensions of the new PS4 console, the Slim unit will also ship with a revised DualShock 4 pad, which includes a light bar above the touchpad.
