Sony has unleashed PS4 update 5.53-01. The patch is available to download now.
The incremental update to the PS4 firmware looks like a minor one, weighing it at just 71MB. The official patch notes from Sony Interactive Entertainment simply read: This system software update improves system performance.
Luckily, there is a bit more excitement to look forward to today when you boot up your PS4. It's the weekly PlayStation Store update and there's some decent-looking new PS4 releases, including the Swords of Ditto and Emily Wants To Play Too.
