Amazon polled a number of customers on their most anticipated video game of 2016, with Hello Games’ PlayStation 4 opus, No Man’s Sky, coming out on top amidst some stiff competition,
The ambitious space exploration title, which hits PS4 and PC later this summer, managed to fend off heavyweights such as Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Final Fantasy XV to claim the top spot.
Curiously, three of the games on the list, notably Mass Effect: Andromeda, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, are not actually out until 2017, making their inclusion rather odd.
"We asked Amazon customers to vote for their most anticipated games of the year and you voted in your thousands," said Amazon. "We’ve heard the passion and the dedication to gaming in your comments and have assembled the official, Amazon customers’ top ten most anticipated games of 2016."
