Best Buy is restocking the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S today, and unsurprisingly, this has resulted in fairly large queues forming outside its various stores across the United States. Evidently, punters are eager to get their paws on Sony and Microsoft’s telly boxes.
Both console will be sold in-store (yes, you’ll actually be able to go in and pick one up physically) from 7.30 am local time today, although if you want to actually get your hands on a PS5 or Xbox Series X, queuing is the only option.
Twitter has been rife with reports of queues forming at Best Buy stores across the US, with areas such as College Stations, TX, Frisco, TC, Charleston, SC, Beavercreek, OH and Brooklyn, New York. See for yourself below.
Sony launched the PS5 back in November 2020 in the US, UK, Europe, and other major territories, although the console has been plagued by shortages ever since.
