Scalpers are turning their attention to the PS5 Disc Drive ahead of the launch of the PS5 Pro tomorrow.
The PS5 Disc Drive is an attachment that you can use with the PS5 Slim Digital Edition or the PS5 Pro in order to play physical media. While it would usually retail for $79.99, scalpers are reselling the device at amounts that are at least 50% higher than the standard asking price.
A quick look on eBay reveals that the PS5 Disc Drive is selling for anywhere between $150 — $200, which considering the price of the PS5 Pro, means that users will be having to fork out over $800 to get a disc drive with the new console if they are going down the eBay route.
