Unverified images posted on Twitter have claimed that the PS5 DualSense controller could feature 50% more battery capacity than its predecessor, the DualShock 4.
PS5 DualSense Controller Battery Life Update
Galaxy666 posted up a series of hands-on pictures with the DualShock 5 controller, revealing a battery capacity of 1560mA. He claims to work for an accessory company, hence why he was able to get some time with the new pad. For reference, the DualShock 4 has a battery capacity of 1000mA, which gives it about four to seven hours of charge life.

The PS5 DualSense controller features a number of exciting features, including haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and the Create button, which replaces the Share button on the DS4 but is believed to function in a similar manner.
There’s been no official word from Sony about the battery life for the DualSense controller, so don’t take this info as the real deal just in case.
