Former Xbox marketing chap Albert Penello has said that there’s ‘no way’ the PS5 price will clock in at over $499, as speculation continues to mount on how much Sony’s next-generation console will cost.
‘No Way’ PS5 Price Will Be Over $499
Penello made the comments on Twitter following a listing for the PS5 price was spotted on retail giant Amazon.

Sony is still keeping mum over the price of the new console, which will be arriving in stores in holiday 2020.
Last week, the format holder unveiled a slew of titles for the PS5, including Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil Village, Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, and Spider-Man Miles Morales. We also got our first look at the console’s design, too.
Sony has confirmed it will launch two versions of the system at launch; a digital-only SKU and a regular model featuring a disc drive. Hopefully a price point isn’t too far away, eh?
