Tom Henderson has reported that the PS5 Pro is still on track to ship in late 2024, despite suggesting on X yesterday that this wasn’t the case, which it turned out was just a passive comment.
Writing on Insider Gaming, the insider noted that, as far as he’s aware, the PS5 Pro is still being lined up for release later this year, although Sony has yet to announce the console. He noted that from July 30, developers are able to submit their applications supporting the new console to Platform Certification & Operations, and that all applications for PS5 games that will be released after September 15 are required to support PS5 Pro.

Henderson adds that while release date has yet to be set in stone, the above info suggests that the PS5 Pro is indeed still on track to ship in late 2024.
Back in April this year, The Verge’s Tom Warren reported that Sony is expecting every game submitted to certification in August to be compatible with the PS5 Pro. Furthermore, it is believed that the console’s GPU is able to render around 45 percent faster than the standard version of the system.
