Sony Interactive Entertainment has released PS5 system software update 25.02-11.00.00, which is now available to download and comes with a number of improvements for the console beyond the usual enhancements to stability. You can read the full patch notes below.
- Activity cards now display full details, making it easier to track in-game progress while still keeping potential spoilers hidden.
- Unicode 16.0 emojis are now supported in messages, expanding communication options for players.
- Parental control adjustments: If the restriction level is set to “Late Teens or Older,” the default setting for Communication and User-Generated Content will now be set to Restrict. Previous custom settings will remain unchanged.
- System performance and stability improvements for a smoother gaming experience.
- Refinements to messages and overall usability on certain system screens.
