Sony Interactive Entertainment has released PS5 system update 25.05-11.60.00.05, although if you’re hoping for any significant changes to the console, you had better rein those expectations in. Yep, this is another one of those stability improvements we’ve all become very used to by now.

Back in April Sony released a new PS5 system update that reintroduced the PlayStation 30th Anniversary themes, which were originally released for a limited time late last year. However, one feature that didn’t make a comeback is the PSOne boot up screen, which adding that extra little nostalgic touch.
The PS5 was released in major regions around the globe in November 2020 during the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Stock sold out fast, with scalpers quickly taking advantage of any new consoles that arrived at retailers and reselling them at exorbitant prices.
