Raccoon Logic is a studio born out of the closing of Typhoon Studios, the team behind Journey To The Savage Planet. Unfortunately for Typhoon, it was shut down only a year after Journey To The Savage Planet was released.
Fortunately though, Raccoon Logic has been formed, and even more fortunately it looks like the team has stuck with savage planets for their next game.
Spotted by MP1st, it looks like a sequel is in development at Raccoon Logic. A trademark registration in Canada for “Revenge of The Savage Planet” made by Raccoon Logic points to a sequel being made, and seems to be the reveal of the sequel’s title. Though that could change from now to its official announcement.
Of course a trademark isn’t an official confirmation, but along with it MP1st points to a casting call for actors for the game, where Raccoon Logic uses the codename “Lodestar” for the project, and calls it “a follow-up to “Journey To The Savage Planet” by Tycoon/505/Stadia Games.”
That pretty clearly indicates Raccoon Logic is working on a sequel, though there’s been no official communication about the sequel from Raccoon Logic at time of writing.
Hopefully Raccoon Logic is able to give that official confirmation sometime soon, and we can begin finding out more about this coming sequel.
