The release date for Rebel Galaxy Outlaw has been announced for PC, with the PS4 version coming soon after.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw will be releasing on August 13, 2019 for PC on the Epic Games Store. The PS4 version is in the works; however, it will be released later down the line.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is an open-world space sim with lots of combat, explosions, side activities and killing. There are also plenty of characters for you to meet and take on jobs from them. It is pitched as a prequel of sorts to Rebel Galaxy which released in 2015.

The game was originally announced last year and fan anticipation has been high since then. Our own, John-Paul Jones took a look at the game in his weekly Looking Forward Feature. Back when the game was announced the Co-Founder of Double Damage Games, gave the following statement:
“This has got to be the most ambitious game I’ve ever worked on,” said Travis Baldree, Co-Founder of Double Damage Games. “We took what worked from the last title, and then went a little crazy. It’s got a stronger focus on story and place, a huge jump in detail, and while it still works great for folks with a HOTAS at home, I think we’ve managed to make space combat accessible and fun for everybody else in a way that nobody has managed before. We’ve got a lot more to share in the months ahead”.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is coming to PC via the Epic Games Store on August 13, 2019. The PS4 version is scheduled to launch sometime in 2019.
