One of the many side missions you can enjoy in Rockstar’s epic is the Red Dead Redemption 2 Serial Killer Quest. In the following guide, we’ll show you where you need to head to on the map and how to solve the Serial Killer puzzle in “American Dream”.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Serial Killer Quest – Clue 1
There’s lot of clues to search for on the hunt for the Serial Killer and it all begins close to Valentine. Just South West of Wallace Station (west area of Valentine). Just follow the railroad southwards on the map until it cross the South Creek River.
You want to keep to the east side of the railroad where you’ll find a rock with the remains of a guy tied to it. Looks like a serial killer got to him! This is the first clue. Look at the rock and you’ll see the words “Do you see?”.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Serial Killer Quest – Clue 2
The next piece of the map can also be found close to Valentine, this time in the southeast just to the West of Citadel Rock. You’re now searching by the train tracks underneath the bridge. The serial killer has left a chilling message which reads “Look on my works”. Scout around this location for the next clue.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Serial Killer Quest – Clue 3
Now, you’re going to have to travel to Rhodes, just to the South East of Braithwaite Manor. The exact location is smack bang on the letter “S” for Meadows on the map. Check out the huge tree trunk with the word “Behold” on it. The second clue is just behind the tree.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Serial Killer Map
You’ll now have each piece of the map, and you’re getting closer to finding the psychopath. You’ll now see an area marked on your map with a white circle. You’re heading to Southwest of Valentine and searching for an abandoned house. Inside there’s a basement where you’ll find the mass murderer. Kill him and you’ll be rewarded with $20 from the Sheriff.
