Reef Entertainment has announced on X that it has pushed back the release of Terminator 2D: NO FATE to December 12, marking yet another delay for the superb-looking side-scrolling action romp.
The studio explained in a post that it requires a little more time to assemble the physical editions of the game, and therefore has taken the decision to delay disc and digital versions of Terminator 2D: NO FATE. Fortunately the delay isn’t too bad, as the title was meant to come out on November 26, so it’s only a few weeks extra wait.

The physical components for all editions have now finally arrived, following the ongoing delays that pushed us off our previous schedules. However, we now have to assemble the physical editions, which we need some time to do. Because of this, we are moving the launch date of Terminator 2D: NO FATE to December 12, 2025, for all physical and digital versions of the game.
We are sincerely sorry for the repeated delays. We don’t take your patience for granted, and we never want to disappoint our community. Our goal has always been to deliver the game that you deserve, and we’re almost there.
Terminator 2D: NO FATE sees players following Sarah Connor and the T-800 as they go up against the relentless T-1000 and attempt to thwart Skynet’s plans before the annihilation of the human race. In addition, the action switches to the future as you lead John Connor and his resistance group against the machines to secure humanity’s survival. Expect a unique story that combines iconic sequences from Terminator 2: Judgment Day with original scenarios as you decide the fate of the human race.
The game will now arrive on December 12, 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
