Original Story – Gunfire Games has announced that Remnant: From The Ashes is getting a PS5 upgrade patch, offering 4K and 60 FPS performance modes.
This PS5 upgrade patch will launch on May 13, 2021, and offer two performance modes: one which runs at 4K, 30 FPS and the other running at 1080p 60 FPS. It’s worth noting that this is just a patch, not a native upgrade so don’t expect any extra bells and whistles like DualSense support or Activity Card use and trophy tracking.
This patch will also implement cross-play for Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC players, but not PS4 and PS5 players which is disappointing and might have to do with Sony’s policy that requires developers to pay them compensation for cross-play enabled games.
