Capcom has announced that it’s bringing Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this year.
The publisher confirmed that each port will set you back $19.99/£15.99 as a digital download, and that the games will also see a physical release for both consoles in North America.
Resident Evil 6 is the first out the gate on March 29, and will be followed by Resident Evil 5 in summer 2016 and Resident Evil 4 in fall 2016. Furthermore, the current-generation port of RE6 will feature all post-release DLC.
Check out an announcement trailer below. Resident Evil celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, having first launched on PlayStation on March 22, 1996 in Japan. Presumably this is only a small taste of what to expect from Capcom’s plans for the milestone, so expect more details at a later date.
The company is currently working on a full-fledged remake of Resident Evil 2, although we haven’t see anything on the project since its announcement in summer 2015.
