Japanese publication Famitsu has dissected Capcom’s eagerly awaited Resident Evil 5 under the review microscope this week, awarding the action horror sequel an impressive 38/40.
The review itself contains a couple of interesting tidbits, with the game apparently lasting around 20-25 hours and featuring some of the best unlockable content in the series thus far.
Famitsu goes on to note the importance of cooperative play in the non-zombie blaster, though mentions there is little in the way of actual evolution from the game’s predecessor.
With the game out on March 13 (March 5 in Japan), we’ll be bringing you our definitive review in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned.
