GameStop has secured exclusive rights to the Resident Evil 7: biohazard Collector’s Edition in North America.
Similar to the European Collector’s Edition of the upcoming survival horror title, the U.S. edition features a replica model of the Baker’s house, which functions as a music box playing a sample of the song ‘Go Tell Aunt Rhody.’ In addition, it also features flashing LED lights and stands eight inches tall.

The Collector’s Edition also features a 4GB USB ‘Dummy Finger’ replica, a creepy note (‘I shall dash YOU against the stones’), VHS tape box, Lithograph, a copy of Resident Evil 7, and exclusive metal case. So, slightly different from the EU version, but still packed full of goodies that any Resident Evil aficionado will surely lap up.

Resident Evil 7 was announced at Sony’s E3 2016 press conference, and will launch on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on January 24, 2017. The PS4 version of the game will support PlayStation VR from start to finish, a feature that will remain exclusive to Sony’s console for 12 months, after which other versions will receive VR-specific functionality.

Set a few years after the events of the critically-polarizing Resident Evil 6, this latest entry in the long-running series takes place in Louisiana, U.S., and sees newcomer Ethan exploring a spooky plantation mansion in search of his missing wife. However, he finds himself stalked by the seemingly immortal Baker family and battling against numerous, grotesque creatures throughout the mansion, while having to solve an array of fiendish puzzles in order to survive.
The Resident Evil 7 demo is now available to download from the PlayStation Store, offering a tonal glimpse at what to expect from the game. Capcom has indicated they will be updating the demo for a second time in December, though an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
