New footage of Resident Evil Requiem has been showcased in a trailer showcasing Nvidia’s Path Tracing tech for the upcoming Capcom survival horror title.
The video offers a look a bustling city street, presumably the fictional location of Wrenwood, with pedestrians and traffic going about their business, as well as a look at Grace Ashcroft briefly walking down a busy street. There’s a few cutscenes thrown in too, such as Leon getting out of his car that we’ve previously seen, but much of the city footage is new.
Check it out below.
Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled for release on February 27, 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. The game introduces newcomer Grace, the daughter of Alyssa from Resident Evil Outbreak, as she investigates the Wrenwood Hotel, the same place her mother was murdered eight years prior.
Leon S. Kennedy is also returning for this latest entry, and is dispatched by the D.S.O to investigate ex-Umbrella scientist Victor Gideon in the Midwest. The narrative is set some 30 years after Raccoon City’s destruction, and the remains of the city are a featured location in the game, and Capcom has said Grace and Leon’s campaigns are ‘almost equally split.’
Capcom is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Resident Evil (known as Biohazard in Japan) on March 22, 2026. The company is heavily rumoured to be working on remakes of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero, which are reportedly due out in 2027 and 2028, respectively.
