Capcom News PS5 Resident Evil Resident Evil Requiem Resident Evil Showcase

Resident Evil Showcase Confirmed For January 15 With New Resident Evil Requiem Details

Capcom has announced that it will host its Resident Evil Showcase on January 15, 2026 at 2.00pm PST, where fans will get new details on the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem.

The showcase will last around 12 minutes, and a teaser video can be seen below which offers a brief glimpse at gameplay featuring Grace and Leon. Speaking of the former Raccoon Police cop, it’s probably a safe bet to assume we will be getting some new footage of Leon’s part in the story and how he will play in comparison to Grace, as Capcom only confirmed he’ll be appearing in Requiem last month.

Resident Evil Requiem is slated for release on February 27, 2026 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. The game takes place around 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City (as depicted at the end of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis), and sees Grace Ashcroft investigating a series of murders in a hotel; the same location her mother, Alyssa, was brutally killed some years before. Meanwhile, Leon has been dispatched to the Midwest to look into a number of incidents linked an ex-Umbrella scientist.
