Resident Evil Veronica Cast Details Reportedly Leak With Stephanie Paniscello Back As Claire

Capcom is keeping tight-lipped on Resident Evil Veronica since its announcement at Summer Game Fest, but sources have revealed to website MP1st some key cast details that confirm that the actress behind Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil 2 remake is returning to reprise her role in the new game.

Stephanie Panisello previously also portrayed the younger Redfield sibling in Resident Evil Infinite and Resident Evil Death Island, and is set to reprise her role in RE: Veronica. Sources also told MP1st that Jeff Schine, who played Chris Redfield in Resident Evil Village, will be back in Resident Evil Veronica, while Craig Burnatowski is set to play Albert Wesker again following his performance in Resident Evil 4 remake.

Other castings reported include Matthew Castle as Steve Burnside, Vincent Kerschbaum as Rodrigo Juan Raval, Andrew Wheildon-Dennis as Alfred Ashford, and Lizabeth Helian as Alexis Ashford. Meanwhile, Phoebe O’ Donovan and Lucy Aarden have been cast in undisclosed roles.

Elsewhere, the same source also revealed a few cast details on the as-yet unannounced Resident Evil Zero Remake. As previously reported, it seems that Jon McLaren is indeed playing ex-Marine Lieutenant Billy Coen, while S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team medic Rebecca Chambers is portrayed by Canadian actresss Hallea Jones. Burnatowski is also expected to return as Wesker.

Resident Evil Veronica is slated to launch in 2027 for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. Resident Evil Zero remake hasn’t been announced by Capcom yet, but leaker Dusk Golem has long claimed that the game will launch in 2028. He recently stated that the game was rebooted and is now being worked on by Capcom Division 1.
