The Brazilian Classification Board has rated Resident Evil Village for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S ahead of the game’s reported April launch. While this isn’t too surprising, it’s worth noting that the long-rumored PS4 and Xbox One versions were not mentioned.
Capcom hasn’t announced that it’s working on last-generation versions of the upcoming survival horror title yet, but it has said it may happen. According to recent leaks, PS4 and Xbox One SKUs are indeed in the pipeline.
Resident Evil Village suffered a major leak online over the weekend, resulting in much of the game’s plot, including the ending, being spoiled ahead of release. It comes following a huge leak at Capcom due to a ransomware attack last month.
Set a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Village sees returning hero Ethan Winters exploring a mysterious settlement in Europe while battling against werewolf-like creatures and other monstrosities. Chris Redfield is also set to make a comeback, as seen in the debut trailer.
